Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). If using a silicone donut mold, place it on a sturdy baking sheet for easy handling.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend, brown sugar, baking powder, ginger bread flavor, and salt until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and then add vanilla, avocado oil, dairy-free milk, and white vinegar. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients. Stir until just combined, ensuring not to overmix. The batter should be lumpy.
  5. Transfer the prepared batter into a piping bag or a sturdy ziplock bag with a corner snipped off. Pipe the batter into the donut mold, following the shape of each cavity and filling them about two-thirds full. If needed, smooth the tops with a spatula or the back of a spoon.
  6. Bake the donuts for 12 Minutes.
For the decoration of the donuts
  1. In separate bowls, melt the vegan white chocolate according to the package instructions. Use a microwave or a double boiler for gentle melting. Stir until smooth.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring to the melted vegan white chocolate. Mix well until you achieve the desired color.
  3. Once the Baked Gluten-Free Cinnamon Donuts have cooled, carefully dip the tops of each donut into the melted vegan chocolate. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
  4. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle the tops of the donuts with your favorite vegan and gluten free sprinkles. This adds a burst of color and fun texture.
  5. Place the donuts on a wire rack or parchment paper to allow the chocolate to set. You can speed up the setting process by placing them in the refrigerator for a short time.
